Welcome to Town of Truro Online!

Before you proceed, you must indicate whether you are seeking to purchase a daily beach pass, a Beach Sticker &/or Transfer Station access, or a Beach Fire Permit. These transactions cannot be combined in one transaction. Traditional Stickers/Permits include:

  • *Beach Stickers (Required 3rd Saturday of June through Labor Day)
  • Off-Road Vehicle Stickers (Required all year long)
  • *Transfer Station Access
*SENIOR PERKS PILOT PROGRAM - Annual Town Meeting 2025: Article 3, Section 13. The town plans to launch a pilot program that offers reduced beach stickers and Transfer Station access for Truro residents aged 65 and older who meet specific eligibility criteria. If you qualify for this program, we recommend waiting until after May 21st, 2025, to purchase your beach sticker or Transfer Station access. To be eligible for the program, the senior must have the motor vehicle that will receive the permit registered in their name and registered to a Truro address, and only (1) of each type of Senior Perks Program permit (i.e. (1) beach permit and (1) Transfer Station permit) per household may be issued for the duration of the Pilot Program. The permits do not need to be on the same vehicle. Permits may not be designated to other individuals. Similar to the Childcare Voucher program, the Senior Perks program will begin as a pilot program in its first year to collect data about use of the program, budgetary impacts, and program policies. The Pilot Program will run from May 21st, 2025, through May 14, 2026. The Select Board voted to offer the Senior Perks Beach Permit at a 75% discount ($7.50) and the Board of Health voted to offer the Senior Perks Transfer Station Permit at a 50% discount ($50.00). Final pricing and implementation is subject to regulation amendments that will occur at respective board meetings pending a favorable vote of this article at Town Meeting.

Daily Beach Passes Daily Beach Passes can be purchased in season (3rd Saturday of June through Labor Day) at Head of the Meadow Beach and Corn Hill Beach.Daily beach permits are non-refundable.

Open Air Burn Permit To obtain an Open-Air Burn Permit, to burn yard debris, visit https://truro.firepermits.com/. This is a seasonal permit that is issued through the Truro Fire Department. For more information, call (508) 487-7548.

Beach Stickers and Transfer Station Access require additional processing time for approval and may require additional documentation to be uploaded.

Beach Fire Permits can be purchased online and on the day of, between 9:00AM and 3:00PM. Permits are approved daily and require additional documentation to be uploaded. Beach Fire Permits are non-refundable.
